A few days have passed, and Ted has received the amendments to the contract from the manufacturer in China. He has discussed the requests from the manufacturer with his boss, and his boss has agreed to the minor adjustments. He gives Polly a call to tell her the news.經過幾天之後，Ted 從大陸廠商那收到合約的修改版本。他已和他的老闆討論過廠商的那些要求，他的老闆同意做些微的調整。他打電話給 Polly，告訴她這個消息。


Ted: Hi. Is this Polly?
Ted：嗨，是 Polly 嗎？

Polly: This is Polly speaking.
Polly：我就是。

Ted: It's Ted calling from Taiwan. My boss has accepted your requests and the contract has been amended.
Ted：我是從台灣打來的，我是 Ted。我老闆已接受你們的要求，合約已經做了修改。

Polly: That's fantastic. I'll share the good news with my boss.
Polly：那太好了。我會把這好消息跟我老闆說。

Ted: I'll send you the new draft today. Have your boss double-check it and let me know if everything is in order.
Ted：我今天會把新的版本寄給你。請你的老闆再確認一次，讓我知道是否一切就緒。

Polly: Are you going to send it again by express mail?
Polly：你會再用快遞寄過來嗎？

Ted: I'm sending it by courier again. The Fedex guy will be here in an hour.
Ted：我會用快遞再寄一次。Fedex（聯邦快遞）的人在一小時內就會過來這邊了。

Polly: I'll keep my eye out for it tomorrow then.
Polly：我明天會特別留意的。

Ted: I'll give you a shout tomorrow afternoon around 3 o'clock.
Ted：我明天大概下午三點的時候會跟你確認一下。

Polly: Sounds good. Talk to you then.

1.amendment (n.) 修改；訂正

（Ted 從大陸廠商那收到合約的修改版本。）

你的信用卡紅利點數怎麼算？

以信用卡支付消費在現在是很普遍的一種付款方式，每次在收到帳單時，除了帳單上印上本期應繳金額，通常還會列上一欄，至本期累積紅利點數有xxx點，這是當你在刷卡付費時，銀行額外提供給你的一種折扣方式，累積到一定點數，即可兌換銀行規定的相關贈品，但是往往很多人對於紅利點數銀行是怎麼計算，還是不甚了解。

 

通常當你在刷卡10-30元時，銀行就會回饋你紅利點數一點，但是有時銀行會設定條件或優惠活動，讓紅利點數倍數回饋給卡友，條件包括：

 

1.於指定商店消費，即享享有國外數倍、國內數倍紅利點數回饋。

 

2.生日當日或當月消費即獲得倍數回饋。

 

3.信用卡核卡後幾天內，所有刷卡消費、預借現金所得的紅利點數將倍數計算，例如每20元1點加倍為3點。

 

4.特別的活動，例如近期有家業者推出只要單筆滿1680元以上，遇到刷卡金額尾數為「○」，則贈送紅利100點。但通種這種類似活動每月紅利點數回饋都有回饋上限限制。

 

 

除了了解銀行紅利積點計算方式，紅利有效期限也是很重要的一項，銀行會設定累積的點數有效時間是2-3年，或終身有效紅利積點，日期一定要注意，免得過期紅利點數被歸零，努力累積的點數全沒了，會令人相當愕腕的！
